EDIT!EDIT!...EDIT: Just about better, although I have to finish all my medicine before the strep virus is gone. Picked up writing again.

EDIT!EDIT: Feeling better but am out of energy. Felt REALLY bad last night and not so good tonight either. Too weak to pick up my pen and write. So sick of this.

EDIT: It's strep. I just went to pick up my medicine in 95 degree heat with 60% humidity, and I don't think that was a good idea. Very dizzy and close to fainting.

The doctors can't figure out what's wrong. At first Mom and I thought it was tonsillitis, but then the swelling and pain moved to the left side of my neck (it's actually visible, which is gross). Rapid culture for strep came out negative, but on the bright side they may know tomorrow what the hell is going on (slow culture exam).

Very delirious and lucid, plus I'm sweating like my neighbor's swine. This sucks because I can't write my book when I want to, and it's the first day off I've had to spend with Mom in a long time.

Painful swallowing and difficulty breathing from the swelling have eased off now that I'm taking Ibuprofen which turns the swelling and inflammation off. So far it's doing nothing for the fever.
